Abstract:

This presentation will provide an overview on hydraulic fracturing with an emphasis on the chemicals and fluids used. Included will be a discussion about the composition of a hydraulic fracturing fluid. An examination of the ingredients comprising a hydraulic fracturing fluid will also be discussed with a description of their functions and examples given of specific types.
